Making a 12 month baby collage that looks like a set
Pick photos with the baby at about the same size in each frame. The squares crop from the centre, so a photo where the baby fills the middle of the picture works best. If the backgrounds clash, the white or cream background holds them together better than a colour.
Missing a month? Leave the square empty and it prints as a soft tile with the number, or use the best photo you have from that month even if it was not a proper milestone shot. Our first year photo collage guide covers grids, framing and print sizes in more depth.

Are my baby photos uploaded when I make a collage?
No. The collage is built in your browser on your own phone or computer. The photos are never sent to a server, and closing the page clears them.
How big is the downloaded collage?
Portrait is 2400×3000 pixels, which prints at 8×10 inches at 300 dpi or larger at lower resolution. Landscape is 3000×2400. Both are JPGs that any photo printer or lab will accept.
Can I make a first year collage on my iPhone?
Yes. Open this page in Safari, tap Choose up to 12 photos, and pick them from your library. The finished collage saves to Files or Photos when you tap Download.
How do I put the photos in the right month order?
Photos fill the squares in the order you pick them. To fix one, tap that month's square and choose a different photo, or tap the cross to clear it.
What is the best layout for a 12 month baby collage?
Three across and four down suits a portrait frame on a wall, with one row per season. Four across and three down suits a shelf or a landscape photo book page.
